Simmetry3d has always had a free-viewer so that anyone can view the visualisations it produces. We have been working hard on a new version of Simmetry3d, in which we have improved the publishing aspects of the application. In conjunction with this we have developed a much easier to use "Free-viewer" application which can exists as a single executable file containing all the necessary viewing software AND published data within it. So when you publish a design the result is a single file, which you can freely distribute to your clients, and that they can run with no installation. We have also added a couple of new viewing modes too - a plan view and a rotate about the design view- these modes let the user easily view the whole design before electing to enter the walkthrough mode. There is also a new way of linking published designs together, so that ?linked? objects become highlighted and when clicked on, the link is followed to a different published visualisation.

We have also unified the free viewing software between Walkabout3d and Simmetry3d so that whichever one you use to publish with, the same free-viewer can be utilised.
