A new knowledge transfer scheme has been set up to develop a viewer application to allow visualisation of Simmetry3d models and Sketchup models on the University?s immersive virtual reality facility. The project enhances the existing Simmetry3d viewer to support full quad-buffered stereo rendering. This collaboration widens access to the VR facilities to non-specialised users, and at the same time concretes Simmetry3d?s visualisation credentials.
