There is now a beta of version Simmetry 3.1 available for download. It has a much improved Sketchup importer, which includes
-projected texture support (for 3D models from photographs sketchup feature).
-optimisations for realtime viewing of complex sketchup files.
-full two sided textured surface support.
-compatibility with the new stereo viewing mode.
Also watch this space for a new "viewer" application which plugs-in to sketchup to allow a real-time walkthrough at the press of a button - this will include all the new stereo viewing modes.
