Hello,

I've been using Simmetry 3d for a little while now and I'm really impressed with the results I've got so far. :)

I've made a list of things that would in my opinion make it even better to use the software.

If a path is closed, you probably need a way to open it again.

Add Save mesh material, Clear Mesh material options in the Browse Mesh Materials dialog to allow you to get access to images in the project.

If you set "Billboard Rotation" option then insert a subsequent mesh the dialog remembers this option. This causes the object to rotate in an odd fashion with the Rotate tool. Could potentially be confusing, if you don't know what is going on ( it caused me to scratch my head a little :D ).

It would be nice to store the lightmap settings for each mesh so that you can return to these when regenerating the lightmaps for a particular object

The grid can hide paths which makes it a little confusing working in top view. However, the quick fix is to toggle the grid on / off.

It would be good to have a "Goto Mesh" option in the project tree for inserts. Useful if there's a lot of inserts and you wish to move quickly to the mesh node.

Scale Variance on Paint inserts - might want an option to increase / decrease size only?

Might want to hide light inserts in the simulator mode automatically?

I found myself wanting scroll bars whilst in top mode so I could move the scene while still running the edit path tool. Saying this, the cursor keys do this job at the moment.

Maximum height for simulator mode - if you machine swaps out when changing to simulator mode, you can go very high in the air.

Paint inserts on object - holding shift down makes it easy to paint flowers onto a raised flower bed. However, while you are painting subsequent flowers will stack upon each other rather than the flower bed. Maybe you could keep a note of the objects currently painted and whilst you paint it ignores all the newly added inserts, or maybe you could select an insert that the tool will use to paint on to rather than having to hold the shift key.

Thanks for the feedback... they seem like good suggestions. I'll go through the list and post back which ones make it into the next build.
