View projects using the immersive, full-screen simulation mode. Click one button and instantly be walking around your scene in first or third person. The simulation mode combines a visually rich "video game" style with ease of navigation. The viewer will be able to bump into objects and climb on them, for example allowing them to walk up stairs or get into lifts. Objects can also be animated in the simulation to provide dynamic content, which can be controlled interactively by the viewer. An example of this would be the opening of doors in a house model.

Still images, cross-sections, videos and interactive presentations of projects can be produced, allowing clients full viewing control over the design.

Each Simmetry 3d project contains terrain models which can be manipulated using the terrain sculpting tools. These tools all work interactively and allow users to sculpt the landform, like moulding clay, to their requirements. Each terrain model can be textured with aerial photography and detail textures which are displayed when viewing the terrain model close up.

Three dimensional "objects" can be integrated with terrain models to provide an even greater level of realism to visualisations. Simple objects can be generated by Simmetry 3d and more complex objects can be imported from leading 3d modelling and CAD packages. Objects can be easily positioned and will react to any changes in the landform beneath them, maintaining their position ‘on' the terrain automatically.

The effects of light and shadow can be previewed on the environment in visualisations. The position of the sunlight can be controlled interactively, allowing users to see how the shadows move as the sun moves.
