If you alter the display colour mode without restarting Simmetry 3d, you may see some terrain textures not displayed properly. Simply save your work and restart Simmetry 3d while in 32-bit mode.

Graphics drivers sometimes have a setting called "Anti-Aliasing" which when turned on that may slow down the display of projects. If you are experiencing slow performance, you can turn this option off and this may increase the speed of Simmetry 3d.

The setting will be in a window on your graphic driver options and these are dependant on the manufacturer of your graphics hardware. Try turning this option to "application-controlled", or "off" depending on which options are available to you.
